Yellowstone Film Ranch in Livingston, Montana, has announced that it would host its ninth feature film production in less than three years with Unholy Trinity. The title refers to the titular protagonists, played by actors Samuel L. Jackson, Pierce Brosnan, and Brandon Lessard.

The co-owner of the Yellowstone Film Ranch, Carter Boehm, expressed interest in continuing to draw more Hollywood productions to Montana, particularly those featuring A-list talent. Productions at the ranch have been a boon for the local economy, with 60 percent of jobs on these productions going to Montana residents. All catering services are provided by Park County businesses, and film crews typically require nearly 100 hotel rooms and Airbnb rentals. Local bars and other businesses also enjoy increased traffic during film shoots.

Production on Unholy Trinity was expected to continue through the Thanksgiving holiday. The film, which secured an interim agreement to film during the Screen Actors Guild strike of 2023, was written by Lee Zachariah and directed by Richard Gray. Other stars include David Arquette from the Scream franchise and Katrina Bowden from 30 Rock.
